Issue: Week Commencing 30th June 2025

📖 Reflection & Remembrance

As we gather in faith this week, let us take a moment to remember those who have experienced bereavement over the past year. The journey of “firsts” after loss can be deeply painful, and your continued prayers and compassion are a source of great comfort.

🕯️ St. John’s Piety Stall: Special Offers

Angela is currently refreshing the stock at St. John’s Piety Stall. To make room for new items, several current products are available at reduced prices. A perfect opportunity to find a devotional gift or personal treasure at a bargain.

✊🏽 CAFOD Campaign: Stop the Debt Crisis

Throughout July and August, we will be highlighting CAFOD’s urgent campaign to tackle global debt injustice. Expect a short message at Mass and opportunities to sign a petition advocating for:

  1. Cancellation of unjust debt
  2. Introduction of a Debt Justice Law
  3. Establishing a new UN framework to prevent future debt crises

🛒 Support for Refugees via Sanctus

Thank you for your continued generosity. Donations to Sanctus, supporting local refugees, have dropped in recent months. We kindly ask parishioners to consider contributing simple items: tinned tomatoes, dry goods, toiletries—no gift is too small.
