Sacraments & Religious Services

The Sacraments are at the heart of Catholic life and worship. Through them, we encounter Christ, receive God’s grace, and are strengthened in faith. Our parish celebrates the Sacraments with reverence, prayer, and active participation, while offering guidance and pastoral support at every stage of the Christian journey.

Baptism

Baptism is the foundation of Christian life, welcoming individuals into the Church and beginning their life in Christ. Preparation is provided for parents and families seeking Baptism for their children.

First Holy Communion

First Holy Communion marks a significant step in a child’s faith journey, as they receive the Eucharist for the first time. Preparation is offered to help children and families understand and reverence this sacred sacrament.

Confirmation

Confirmation strengthens the gifts of the Holy Spirit received at Baptism, calling candidates to live and witness their faith more fully. Instruction and preparation are provided for those seeking Confirmation.

Reconciliation (Confession)

The Sacrament of Reconciliation offers God’s mercy, forgiveness, and healing. Through Confession, individuals are reconciled with God and the Church and are renewed in faith and grace.

Matrimony (Wedding)

The Sacrament of Matrimony celebrates the lifelong union of a man and a woman in Christ. Couples are supported through marriage preparation to help them build a faithful and enduring Christian marriage.

Anointing of the Sick

The Anointing of the Sick brings comfort, healing, and spiritual strength to those who are ill or facing serious health challenges. This sacrament may be received at home, in hospital, or in the church by arrangement.

Funeral Services

The Church offers prayerful support to families at the time of death, commending the deceased to God’s loving mercy and offering hope in the Resurrection.
