A Diamond Celebration – 31 August 2025

Warmest congratulations to Pat and John, parishioners of St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, who this week joyfully celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

During the 9:15am Mass on 31 August 2025, Fr John Waters, our Parish Priest, marked this remarkable milestone by presenting Pat and John with a special Apostolic Blessing from Pope Leo XIV.

It was a beautiful and prayerful moment, giving thanks for six decades of love, faithfulness, and shared life, and asking God’s continued blessing upon them in the years ahead.

May Pat and John continue to be an inspiration to our parish community.
